Meet Phil Panzarella
Chief Operating Officer for Easter Seals Serving DC|MD|VA, Inc.
Phil Panzarella is currently Chief Operating Officer for Easter Seals Serving DC|MD|VA, Inc. He works closely with the leadership team to accomplish the mission of enabling people with disabilities and special needs to live, work and play in their communities. He oversees and manages all aspects of the day-to-day operations. Mr. Panzarella, drawing on 40 years of progressive leadership and management experience, is a leader, ICF Coach, mentor, team builder and entrepreneur.
A graduate of the U. S. Military Academy with a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering and a concentration in National Security, Mr. Panzarella earned two Masters Degrees: MBA in finance from Long Island University and a Master’s in Public Policy from Georgetown. He is also a recent graduate of the Georgetown ICF Accredited Leadership Coaching Program.
He holds the following board assignments:
Board member for the Northern Virginia Chamber of Commerce (past chair and decade club member
Past Board member for Easter Seals Serving DC|MD|VA (10 years to include past chair, 3 years)
He also volunteers his time in support of the West Point Leadership and Ethics Conference for High School students in the Greater Washington area (Co-Chair for eleven years). He is a member of American Legion Post 24, AUSA, West Point Society of DC, the LIDO Civic Club, the 123 Club and the Knights of Columbus.
Mr. Panzarella previously served on the boards of Siemens Government Services, the American Freedom Foundation (supporting our veterans for 8 years), AFCEA DC, GMU Civil Engineering Institute, NVSBC, the West Springfield Police District Citizens Advisory Committee (Chairman for two years) and the Edgewater HOA (four years). He is also a graduate of Leadership Fairfax ‘03.
