Lucia Anna Trigiani

Lucia Anna (Pia) Trigiani is a partner in MercerTrigiani in Alexandria, Virginia. Prior to entering private practice in 1987, Pia was property registration administrator for the Virginia Real Estate Board. In 2008, she was appointed by Governor Timothy M. Kaine to serve on the newly established Common Interest Community Board. She was elected Chair of the Board in 2008 and continues to serve as Chair.

Pia was president of The Virginia Bar Association in 2011. She is a fellow and serves as President of the Virginia Law Foundation. Pia was appointed by the Chief Justice of the Virginia Supreme Court to serve on the Judicial Council of Virginia in 2013 and the Judicial Ethics Advisory Committee in 2015. Pia is a member of the Boyd Graves Conference and a faculty member for Virginia Continuing Legal Education.

Besides Virginia FREE, Pia is a member of the boards and executive committees of the Library of Virginia Foundation and Lead Virginia. She co-chairs the Rural Horseshoe Initiative to support Virginia’s Community Colleges. She joined the Flint Hill School Board of Trustees in 2013. In 2014, Governor McAuliffe appointed Pia to the Board of Visitors of Longwood University and in 2016, to the Virginia Growth and Opportunity Board.
